The Soul of This Journey

KUARI PASS HERITAGE TRAIL
Duration: 6 Days / 5 Nights | Trek Difficulty: Easy to Moderate | Pass Altitude: 12,516 ft | Region: Chamoli, Uttarakhand

The Lord Curzon Heritage Trail

The Kuari Pass Trek, famously explored by Lord Curzon in 1905, is an extraordinary alpine journey through the heart of the Garhwal Himalayas. The trail ascends through ancient oak, rhododendron, and deodar forests, opening into magnificent high-altitude bugyals (meadows) at Khullara. From the summit ridge of Kuari Pass (12,516 ft), trekkers are treated to awe-inspiring, up-close panoramas of India's second-highest mountain Mount Nanda Devi (7,816 m), alongside Dronagiri, Kamet, Chaukhamba, Hathi-Ghoda, and Neelkanth.
